Safari TV Diary - 2010.09.04

Two very interesting game drives. In the morning Jared follows up on the lions by the buffalo kill and later on he finds Karula who seemed to have spotted White Claw's son. In the afternoon Tara spends some time with Induna, one of our resident young males leopard. He just made a kill a few hours before and he tries to hide it from other predators before night falls. But unfortunately he's lacking the strength to bring it up a tree and a hyaena steals it right in from of him…Great footage!

safari TV Diary - 2010.09.03

Two lions have been successful in their hunt over night. We find them in the morning feeding on a very fresh buffalo kill. Tara and Jared spend some time with them before finding Induna, our resident young male leopard by Treehouse Dam as a hyaena walks past a few metres from him.

Tara gets to spend some time with a three of the Big 5 : a rhino bull marking his territory after a mud bath, two different lion coalitions and Induna, our resident young male leopard.

Tara follows up on the three young male cheetah and spends some time with them. In the afternoon, Jared observes some buffalos having a mud bath at Chela Pan.

What a great day it was here in Djuma Game Reserve, South Africa. A morning spent with Induna, one of our resident young male leopard as Jared finds him near a new kill. In the afternoon Tara was very lucky to spend some time with three young male cheetah.

Safari TV team follows up on Karula, our resident female leopard. She is still up a marula tree with one of her kills while a few hyaenas are still waiting patiently for a piece of meat to fall off. As Tara spends some time with her, two white rhinos come along. Karula gets very close to them on her way to her second kill…
