Induna, our resident young male leopard is the star of this diary! Tara finds him in a big Marula tree with an impala kill, which doesn't belong to him but to Jambilu Jordaan, another resident adult male leopard. Tara spends some time with him and she then follows him as he goes to drink at a waterhole where he also catches a frog. As night falls he goes back to the tree with the remains from the carcass.

Safari TV Diary - 2010.08.09

Nature is not always about pretty sunsets and flowers. Sometimes Nature also reminds us about the law of the survival of the fittest. Safari TV went live with a pride of lions bringing down a buffalo cow and her calf. The drama unfolds as four of the cats subdue the cow while the fifth fed on the dying calf.
